How much does a hog roast cost in Yorkshire?

Packages start from £15 per head, fully inclusive of food, staff, equipment and clear-down. Final pricing depends on your guest numbers and requirements. Get a personalised quote; we respond within 24 hours.

How many people does a hog roast feed?

A whole hog typically feeds 80 to 150 guests depending on pig size and menu. We cater from 50 guests up to large festivals and will advise on the right setup for your numbers.

What's included in the price?

Everything: fresh locally sourced meat, rolls, coleslaw, salads, roast potatoes, stuffing, apple sauce, all cooking equipment and gazebo, crockery, cutlery, serving ware, professional chefs and staff, setup and full clear-down. No hidden extras.

Do you cater for vegetarians and vegans?

Yes — vegetarian and vegan options are always available at every event. Just let us know your requirements when you enquire.

Where do you cover in Yorkshire?

We travel up to 1 hour or 60 miles from our base in Ripon — covering Harrogate, York, Leeds, Skipton, Knaresborough, Hull, Sheffield, Middlesbrough and everywhere in between. Further afield for larger events — just ask.

How long does a hog roast take to cook?

Our hogs are slow-cooked overnight for 10 to 12 hours, arriving at your event perfectly cooked and ready to carve fresh on the day.

Are you fully insured?

Yes. Trufflehunters carries full public liability insurance at every event.

How far ahead should I book?

Summer weekends and peak wedding season book up fast. We recommend at least 3–6 months ahead for weddings and 1–2 months for parties and corporate events. Check your date is available →
