The Wedding Hog Roast

Slow-cooked local pork, crisp crackling, stuffing and apple sauce — roasted overnight and carved fresh in front of your guests. It is relaxed, generous and exactly the kind of food that gets a wedding talking.

Our legendary horsebox bar — 120+ gins, Yorkshire craft beers, cocktails and a flair bartender who keeps the night going. CAMRa Pub of the Year. The finishing touch for any wedding or event.

Weddings

Made for the big day.

Tipi receptions, barn feasts, marquee dinners on the lawn, country-house weekends — we have cooked at all of them across Yorkshire. Wedding food should be the bit guests rave about, not the bit they forget, so ours is generous, sociable and properly cooked on site.

We will work to your timings, look after every dietary requirement, sort the kids, and quietly get on with it while you enjoy your day. Then the horsebox bar rolls in for the evening and the party takes care of itself.

Wedding & event FAQs.

How far in advance should we book?

Most couples book 6–12 months ahead, especially for summer Saturdays. We keep some capacity for shorter notice — if your date is close, ask and we will tell you straight away.

What is included in the per-head price?

From £15 per head, fully inclusive: food, all sides and condiments, serving staff, all cooking equipment, setup and clear-down. The quote you get is the price you pay.

Do you cater for dietary requirements and children?

Yes — vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and halal options, plus a children's option. Tell us your numbers and we build the menu around them.

What if it rains or the event is indoors?

We cater outdoors and indoors and are well used to British weather — covered cooking station, flexible serving, a crew that has handled everything Yorkshire throws at a marquee.

How many guests can you cater for?

Anything from an intimate 30 to several hundred. A deposit secures your date, balance due before the event.
